Most warranties these days come with a multi-page contract full of fine print, but here at The Blind Factory, we like to keep things simple. If you’re living in your own home, we will guarantee your new blinds for as long as you live there!

We also keep all your product and installation details on file, so there’s no need to register your warranty with us. Just keep your receipt. We keep it simple.

The Blind Factory Lifetime Warranty does cover: The Blind Factory Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
The original purchaser and premises – this warranty is non-transferable Misuse, alterations or re-installment of product
Defects that cause the product to no longer function Commercial or Rental properties (covered for 5 Years)
Parts and Labour – so no cost to you! Motors and related accessories (covered for 5 Years)
You must have followed the recommended Care Instructions Fading (this is natural over time…just like our hair!)

Some things you need to know:

  • If your blinds are mounted on the inside window recess, meet in the corner or butt together there will be gaps and may prevent removal of fly screens.
  • If your blinds are made from Timber, Fabric, Aluminium or PVC they are subject to colour variations and over time they made fade and change colour.
  • When you roll your new blinds up and down, they need gentle guidance and perfect operation cannot be assured if your window is out of square.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
